11 - 1 cup strawberries, halved
12 - 1 cup mini pretzels
13 - 1/2 cup cubed cheese (optional)
14 - Fresh herbs for garnish (mint, basil)
# How to Make It:
01 - Using a bee-shaped or oval cookie cutter, cut bee shapes from the sandwich bread slices.
02 - Spread cream cheese or hummus evenly on half of the bread cutouts. Drizzle with honey if preparing a sweet variation.
03 - Layer thin slices of cucumber and carrot on top of the spread bread slices, then cover each with a second bread cutout to form sandwiches.
04 - Slice black olives into thin rings for bee stripes and small pieces for eyes. Arrange on top of sandwiches, gently pressing into the spread.
05 - Insert two short pieces of chive into each sandwich to resemble antennae.
06 - Arrange bee sandwiches on a large serving board.
07 - Surround the sandwiches with cherry tomatoes, baby carrots, grapes, strawberries, mini pretzels, cheese cubes if using, and fresh herbs.
08 - Serve immediately or cover and refrigerate until ready for your picnic or gathering.
