# How to Make It:

03 - Knead dough on a lightly floured surface for 5 to 7 minutes until smooth and elastic. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 1 hour.
04 - Roll dough to 1/2-inch thickness and cut into 2-inch rounds. Re-roll scraps as needed.
05 - Place rounds on parchment-lined trays, cover, and let rise for 20 minutes.
06 - Heat vegetable oil to 350°F in a deep fryer or heavy pot. Fry beignets in batches for 2 to 3 minutes per side until golden brown. Drain on paper towels and allow to cool.
